Toplyne, a product-led growth (PLG) intelligence platform, has quietly grown to $10 million in annual recurring revenue while remaining under the radar. The Bangalore-based startup is helping companies like Canva, Notion, and Grafana convert their free users into paying customers.

The Problem They Solve

PLG companies acquire users through free products but struggle to identify which users are ready to pay. Toplyne uses AI to analyze user behavior and surface the highest-potential leads.

"Sales teams at PLG companies are flying blind," says co-founder Rishen Kapoor. "They have millions of free users but no idea who to focus on. We solve that."

How It Works

Toplyne integrates with product analytics and CRM tools to:

  • Score every user based on usage patterns, company data, and intent signals
  • Predict conversion probability using machine learning models
  • Route hot leads to sales automatically
  • Suggest optimal timing for outreach

  • Traction and Growth

  • Customers: 200+ PLG companies
  • ARR: $10 million (300% growth YoY)
  • Team: 60 people across Bangalore and SF

  • Why India?

Despite serving mostly US customers, Toplyne chose to build its engineering team in India.

"The talent density in Bangalore for ML and data engineering is incredible," says Kapoor. "We can hire world-class engineers at a fraction of the cost."

    What's Next

Toplyne is launching predictive analytics for expansion revenue—helping companies identify which customers are ready for upsells. They're also expanding into the SMB segment with a self-serve product.
